On a windy night in Coll, it was stalemate between the Broadbay rivals.
The Reds took the lead early on with a wind assisted goal straight from a Wally corner. Great ball in but the keeper will be disappointed that he didnt stop it. Back responded well and two fantastic strikes from Stevie Mutch and Ali ‘Bones’ had them 2 1 up at the interval. The Rudhachs responded well in the second half and eventually got a fantastic equaliser when Sean ‘Bayble’ played a lovely pass to fellow sub Andrew Mackay who finished it off beautifully.
All to play for in the second leg on the11th of June.
Point’s next game is home to Lochs in the league on Monday 28th.
